Or, ask them for their on a more serious note, if you have a legitimate reason to get into their instagram, and have their permission (or else it is illegal), find out their instagram and look for password dumps that have a password for that email. I have never tried to find a password dump, so I don’t know how easy they would be to find, but if you go to here and enter their email. If nothing shows up, then your searching is over. If it shows a website, I imagine you could google “WEBSITE password dump” or something like you don’t find anything, I can’t help you. Attackers are compromising Instagram accounts and locking out users, so take a moment to lock down your account.
A growing number of users are taking to Twitter and Reddit to complain about compromised Instagram accounts, and there seems to be a pattern.
It’s not clear how hackers are gaining access to these accounts, or if it’s the result of a coordinated attack. But we’ve identified several commonalities among the hacking victims—like a changed handle and profile avatar (often to an animated character from a Disney or Pixar film), deleted bios, and a new email address on the account. In most cases, the Instagram users did not have two-factor authentication enabled at the time of the hack, but it appears even this setting may not be enough to deter hackers.
The changed email addresses are a big deal because they make it really hard to recover your account. With this in mind, we think prevention is key. Here’s our advice:
Change your password, particularly if you’ve been re-using one on various accounts. Set up a password manager so you can quickly generate random ones.
Enable two factor authentication on Instagram right now (instructions included in the linked page). Yes, some people have been hacked with this on, but it’s still better to have this on than to not have it on.

TikTok Posts on How to ‘Hack’ Instagram and Snapchat Go Viral
A Filipina TikTok user’s tips on manipulating the algorithms of Instagram and other social media apps have recently gone viral. Margaux Cody created a series on TikTok that shares clever social media hacks and “skills, ” from reading direct messages without sending read receipts to appearing on another user’s Instagram explore “Retired Psycho Tips” series currently includes 13 videos. I have personally used this in the past as a first step to confirm or deny any of my suspicions as well as before conducting a full investigation, ” Margaux says. Her other hacks, however, can be used by people who want to capture the attention of a crush or love interest.
