New IP Address: OPTIMUM – Reddit

Hey guys, I’ve had Optimum home for a while now and my public IP address has always started with 67. Or 68. I just got Optimum Business for my home office and with Optimums router I got a 68. IP address. I then switched it to an Amplifi router and had the same IP, but earlier today I got a SonicWall and when I connected it (I did not restart the cable modem) it got a random IP starting with question is if this is normal or did I do something wrong in the sonicwall setup, everything is setup on DHCP and I just found it weird that the IP would change so drastically from one minute to the next.
