I’d love to invest in a BIFL washing machine. The Speed Queen TC5, TR5, TR3, are all within my price anyone speak from experience about the Speed Queen gentle cycle? I love everything I’ve read about them, but at least ⅓ of my wardrobe is sweaters (thick cotton, wool, you name it, I’ve got one). In the past I’ve always been able to put my sweaters in mesh bags, and into the gentle cycle- and then lay flat to dry with great with the Speed Queen: Is the gentle cycle actually gentle? I’m afraid that all my sweaters will pill up. I looked at Miele, but the noise rating on them is atrocious, they have a gratuitous amount of features, and it appears they are designed to be used with their own branded laundry you!
