How do I sell for free in Sneakers?
We’ve made selling sneakers free by eliminating final value and insertion fees for eligible sneakers.
Sellers pay no insertion fees on eligible sneakers when the starting price of the item is $100 or more, not including shipping, handling, taxes, or fees.
Sellers pay no final value fee when an eligible sneaker’s selling price is $100 or more, not including shipping, handling, taxes, or fees.
Sellers enrolled in managed payments will not be charged a final value fee but will be charged a $0. 30 per-order fee, which will be credited back to them on their monthly statement. Sellers enrolled in managed payments will not be charged third-party payment processing fees.
Eligible items are limited to Men’s and Women’s sneakers listed in the Athletic Shoes category (“Fashion > Shoes > Men’s Shoes > Men’s Athletic Shoes” and “Fashion > Shoes > Women’s Shoes > Women’s Athletic Shoes”).
Do the reduced fees apply to the Kids’ and Babies’ Athletic Shoes category?
No. The 0% final value fee and the $0 insertion fee only apply to the Men’s and Women’s Athletic Shoes categories, if the criteria for each type of fee are met.
What if my item sells for under $100 but sales tax or other charges increase the total price to $100 or more?
Your item will not qualify for the 0% final value fee. In order to qualify for the reduced fee, the selling price of your item must be $100 or more before shipping, handling, taxes, or other charges.
If I list my item in a second category, will I be charged an insertion and final value fee?
If you list your item in a second category, the final value fees for that category will be applied and an insertion fee will be charged. Other fees may also apply. Learn more here.
Do I have to mark anything special in the listing flow to make sure I get the reduced fees?
You only need to select the Men’s or Women’s Athletic Shoes category to receive the reduced fees.
What if a buyer uses eBay Bucks or coupons funded by eBay on the purchase so the actual amount paid for the item is less than $100?
The final value fee will be calculated on full sale price, not including shipping, handling, taxes, or fees, before eBay Bucks or coupons funded by eBay are applied.
If I list an auction at $0. 99 and it sells at $100 or greater, will I get the reduced fees?
You will qualify for the 0% final value fee if your item sells for $100 or more, excluding shipping, handling, taxes, or fees.

If I am enrolled in managed payments, will I still be subject to an International Fee even if my Final Value Fee is waived?
Yes. If your registered address is in the US and either the item’s delivery address is outside the US or the buyer’s registered address is outside the US, you will be charged an International Fee of 1. 65% on the total amount of the sale.
