The Art of Reselling Supreme & Making Cash Along The Way |
Did you ever wonder how a skating brand turned into a famous and eye-catching streetwear brand? Well, that’s simply because Supreme is very unique in every aspect, even its history. This uniqueness earned the brand this huge following around the world. After all, who hasn’t heard about or seen the Supreme logo? Now, wearing Supreme or even using Supreme items is a fashion statement. Who doesn’t wanna turn heads with unique outfits and stand out from everyone else? But then, you’ve got people reselling Supreme. And today, we’re gonna get into the details of the Supreme resale empire!
Why Are People Buying and Reselling Supreme?
Who doesn’t like to be unique and own exclusive items? Supreme is all about exclusivity, so owning an item from the brand makes you one of the elite Supreme-heads. And you know what exclusivity means in terms of resale: mo’ money, mo’ money! So, if you own that really cool Sopranos x Supreme Bogo Tee, you’re literally sitting on a small fortune. Making extra money got easier thanks to Supreme, especially in the sneaker and streetwear industry.
So to sum it up, people cop Supreme items for two reasons and two reasons only. The first would be the legit flex among their friends. The second would be the money you can get from reselling the same items!
How Are People Reselling Supreme?
You’re lucky if you manage to buy ANY Supreme item online or in-store, and that’s a fact. Sometimes people grab the first item they could get their hands on even if it’s not their size or personal style. These people, usually resellers, wait till the stores are out of stock and then advertise on different platforms like eBay, StockX, etc… However, these must be rookie resellers, because not all items resell for lots of cash.
Veteran resellers operate in a different way. They already have a well-connected network for drop news. The meaning is that pro-resellers know what’s gonna brick and what’s gonna be worth the flip! Some items end up selling out for tens of times more than the original retail prices! (Ahem… Supreme New York Post) And they usually make the reseller a small fortune! Pretty tempting, isn’t it?
Golden rules of reselling Supreme
In order to resell Supreme items and make some big bucks, you gotta do it right!
First of all, you should keep the items in a “deadstock” state. Meaning that the item is still new and unworn! “Deadstock” items are always more valuable!
You should also be professional at what you do. Just like any other trade. Honesty and being timely are valuable to Supreme connoisseurs. Providing real-time pictures and proper presentation is always a plus!
Choosing the right platform to sell your items is also crucial. Such platforms include Instagram, eBay, StockX, Grailed, etc.. (we’ll get back to that later)
Always do your research beforehand to know what items to cop. Box Logo tees, picture tees, limited collabs, stickers, and everything with a clear Supreme logo on it are the most sought-out items! The older limited collabs and items get, the more valuable they become.
Where to Resell Supreme Items
As we mentioned before, choosing the right platform will definitely help you when reselling Supreme items. Generally, reselling Supreme goes hand-in-hand with reselling sneakers. So, wherever you can sell sneakers, you can get away with reselling Supreme. Because usually, most Supreme collectors are also sneakerheads! And if you’re wondering where you can resell, here’s our 2021 resale guide!
Platforms like StockX, Grailed, eBay are usually the go-to when reselling Supreme items! If you’re an independent reseller, you could also use Instagram. Facebook could be very useful for local transactions. Finally, GOAT and Flight Club are the perfect places to sell Supreme sneakers.
What Will You Need?
Before reaching the resale phase, you should be able to successfully cop Supreme items. That’s why you’ll need a great bot and servers which will ensure your bot is working full power! Proxies will secure you a higher chance to buy multiple items. Although they’re sneaker proxies, we include Supreme because they fall within the same category!
The resale market is a booming market nowadays. That’s why getting an extra pair of the t-shirt you like will never go to waste. Getting an item in physical Supreme stores is hard, but copping online without a bot is even harder! So if you’ve got all the basics covered for reselling Supreme? Then go grab your bot to boost your chance at copping multiple items and resell them successfully! Godspeed

Supreme Court: You Bought It, You Own It, You Can Resell It
This past week the United States Supreme Court decided a case that reinforced the right to re-sell something that you had lawfully — you might be wondering what’s so earth shattering about that. After all, hasn’t that always been true? You own an iPad and want to get a new tablet instead? Just sell the old iPad or donate it or recycle it — because it’s yours and you can do what you want with it. Bought a book and no longer need it? You sell that, too. Right? Here in the States we have something called the “first sale doctrine. ” It simply means that once a tangible copyrighted work (or something with copyright in it) is sold lawfully the first time, the original copyright owner no longer has rights over the physical item. After that, the buyer can do whatever he or she wants with it — sell it again, donate it, whatever. That’s why you can legally hold a yard sale or sell computers on eBay. The resale right applies only to the physical item sold, not of us take resale rights for that right to resell copyrighted items had been challenged in court. The Supreme Court’s decision this week reaffirmed that owners have resale rights, as Daniel Fisher writes in Forbes:The U. S. Supreme Court today settled a long-simmering debate over the Copyright Act by holding that publishers can’t prevent the resale of books they produce overseas in U. decision in Kirtsaeng v. John Wiley & Sons is a victory for Supap Kirtsaeng, a student who was fined $600, 000 for importing Wiley textbooks from his native Thailand, where they were cheaper, and selling them in the U. It’s also a victory for libraries and retailers like eBay, who argued the “first sale” doctrine — giving owners of published books and recordings the right to sell them to whomever they want — should apply to imported works as well as U. lawsuit related specifically to U. copyrighted items manufactured outside the United States, but re-sold or disposed of inside the U. Owners’ Rights Initiative hailed the decision as a victory for individuals, organizations and businesses. The Initiative is an advocacy group founded to protect owner’s rights to buy and sell authentic motto is: “You bought it. You own it. You have a right to resell it. ” (Image above)The Owner’s Rights Initiative says you should be permitted to resell something you’ve legitimately purchased, no matter where it was manufactured. While the court’s decision puts to rest one attack on resale rights, the group believes there could be other legal attacks in the future. Said Lauren Perez of the American Free Trade Association, in a video on the Owner’s Rights site:If you buy it you own it. If you paid for it, it’s yours. You shouldn’t have to go ask permission of anybody to resell it. You shouldn’t have to worry about being sued for copyright infringement because the original copyright owner or manufacturer doesn’t like you being the person reselling it… doesn’t want you to realize a profit from your original Owner’s Rights Initiative is backed by groups like eBay, Etsy, Overstock, the American Library Association, the Computer and Communications Industry Association, and even the popular used/out-of-print bookseller Powell’s is the Supreme Court’s decision (only the 4-page summary, also known as a syllabus):Image credit: Owner’s Rights InitiativeThis article was updated to clarify that resale rights do not apply to copies illegally made of a copyrighted ‘s PicksBizSugarLinkedInFacebookTwitter
