The apps have been built from the ground up with the PlayStation experience in mind. Browsing our content has never been simpler, with built in tools such as a persistent left navigation menu, dedicated artist pages, and access to all of our original programming. In our watch page, the right rail always provides recommended content contextual to what you’re currently watching. Because we are committed to delivering the most enjoyable console viewing experience, all videos are displayed at the highest HD quality.
In addition, both of our apps let you create and edit playlists and synch them with all of our other apps on your other connected devices like mobile phones and tablets. And, exclusively to PlayStation, you can also watch Vevo TV no matter where you are (we’re launching it soon on our other apps in all Vevo countries).

The Vevo music video app is out now on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
The Vevo app makes its PlayStation debut in the UK and Ireland as part of today’s (April 15) PSN store update.

Built from the ground up for PlayStation, the app is also available in Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland and Spain.
It features a host of high definition music videos and original shows, as well as a genre-specific content filter.
It also contains dedicated artist pages, recommendations and persistent left navigation.
In a PlayStation Blog post, Vevo publicity manager Anthi Pantelidis said: “Both of our apps let you create and edit playlists and synch them with all of our other apps on your other connected devices like mobile phones and tablets.
“And, exclusively to PlayStation, you can also watch Vevo TV no matter where you are (we’re launching it soon on our other apps in all Vevo countries). ”
Vevo clocked a record 10 billion monthly global video views for the first time in January.
Almost half (49. 5%) of the video views recorded by Vevo were on mobile or connected TV devices.

Currently only supporting the Playstation 3 (PS3)
PS3HEN Users will need to use NoPSHEN versions for all apps that have EBOOT patched. These are being tested and rolled out, over time.
These apps have been patched to bypass PSN login from the system. This allows you to use the app without having to also have a PSN account, or having to login to one. There are mainly 2 types of patches. The 1st type is EBOOT/SPRX (any ELF) file patches, which directly edit the executable and repack the ELF. The 2nd type is patching any other file (usually JS/SDAT) that controls PSN login.
CFW consoles can use either package, while HAN users cannot use any app that has a modified EBOOT/SPRX file. The HAN/OFW (etHANol) packages are available for some apps, which allow these consoles to also bypass PSN login prompts. All retail packages should install on HAN/OFW consoles without issue. PS3HEN packages can be used on HEN or CFW. HAN versions will work with HEN, but HEN versions will not work with HAN.
