IP block? :: Elsword General Discussions – Steam Community
I am living in South East Asia and it is blocked here also. I am quite disappointed about this, as I voted and favorited this game in GL, and was looking for play it as soon as get released… but I can´tI hope the developers have a good excuse about this, if not it is their last game I will support, and I was planing to support not only with my vote but also with my money…

Try Restarting steam. If you guys are still having IP issues submit a ticket to:, they’re pretty quick in responding (24 hour support)

The reason for the IP Block is because other countries have their own server. So if the game is blocked for you and you want to try out Elsword try searching up your own Server and go from there.
México it’s also blocked, well the steam game connects to the NA Elsword server.

Please play on the servers meant for your region to reduce the lag on the N. A. servers…

I meant, and most people I think, is that the game is region restricted in Steam, I cannot access the store page as its appears as “not available i your region” I will be able to play from the local website, but in that case why did I vote for your game to be on Steam? If I cannot play using Steam, means that my support for getting your game in Steam was for as I said before I wanted to support your game both with votes and money, but right now believe me I am not going to… I am living in Asia btw.

yeah i live here in USA in Arkansas and it is saying that Elsowrd is not avaible in my the heck is up with that? makes now sense they need to fix this quick.

level 1I think having a VPN can allow you to bypass the block, but creating a Korean Elsword account is difficult because you need to have a Korean phone number and some sort of ID code if I’m not 1You need to be a Korean citizen and use a Korean social security number to play. They do this not only for security but to put time limits for long someone can play based on age to prevent kids from becoming addicted to gaming and letting their grades sliplevel 1Yup just checked.
