When I diagnose connection it says incorrect up address. I have already tried loading it manually, updating drivers reinstalling, etc. it is only for my desktop and the router that is not connecting. what more specifics do you think will help?

If the network troubleshooter didn’t work, let us reset and renew the IP by following the steps below:
Press Windows + X Command Prompt (Admin) the following command and hit Enter to execute:
netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog. txtReboot the PC for the changes to take effect.

How to Fix a “Wi-Fi Doesn’t Have a Valid IP Configuration” Error
Do you keep running into a “Wi-Fi doesn’t have a valid IP configuration” error message while diagnosing an inactive internet connection in Windows 10? Restart Your Router

If you still keep receiving the “Wi-Fi doesn’t have a valid IP configuration” error message, you must uninstall and reinstall the wireless network adapter on your computer. That should rule out a corrupted driver from the equation.
1. Press Windows+X and select Device Manager.
2. Expand Network adapters.
